Sheene Mill is a welcoming place - right from the start we were comfortable with the location and the informal yet highly professional way in which we were treated. Hiring the whole venue meant that we really could arrange our day as we wanted. The quality of the food and the intimacy of the venue was our main reason for booking Sheene Mill for our wedding and we certainly weren''t disappointed - the best food we''ve ever had at a wedding, even though we''re probably biased.

We loved the fact that many of our friends and family could stay in the beautifully decorated bedrooms and fortunately, the weather was good enough for us to maximise usage of the gorgeous gardens. We went back for our 1st anniversary and nearly all of the staff we had come into contact with, remembered us and were equally friendly.

I had my wedding at the Sheene Mill in July 2015 after falling in love with the place on my first visit. It was the most fabulous day and everyone treated me as if i was the first and only bride to ever be married there. It still feels like 'our' wedding venue. Have returned for drinks and meals and will continue to visit whenever possible. I just love the place and the people.
